Q. Do all the shades of Surya Henna colour white & discoloured hairs?
A. Both Surya Henna Powder & cream cover white & discoloured hairs, however, the neutral Powder & Black Powder do not tint or colour the hair in any way. They were created to condition- providing luster & hydration for the hair.
Q. What are the advantages of using Surya Henna Products?
A. These products DO NOT contain unsafe chemicals that most traditional hair colourings use, such as; heavy metals, peroxide, ammonia, parabens, PPD & Resorcinol. Surya Henna Powder is 100% natural & plant based. Surya Henna Cream uses both plant dyes & gentle hair dyes to colour the hair. Both products are semi-permanent which means they wash out after a certain number of Shampoo's. Surya use the highest quality henna & other Indian & Brazillian herbs & fruits which condition & treat the hair, supporting hair growth & hair health. Q I have dark brown hair but about 50% has turned white, how should I darken these white hairs?
A. We suggest using Surya Dark Brown cream for 60mins. We also recommend the chocolate colour for the same length of time.
Q. Does Surya Henna Powder colour white hair to the exact same colour of the hair?
A.No it will only give a colouring to the white hairs as shades. If the natural hair colour is Blonde then the colour will come out close but just as natural shades.
Q. I have white hair & want to produce golden hues. Which product would be best?
A. Use blonde & golden colours of the powder or cream, following the instructions on the pack.

Q. When is it appropriate to use Surya Henna Powder in Strawberry Blonde?
A. While it should be remembered that the blonde colours in the powder do not lighten the hair, we suggest using this shade to; 1) colour white hairs that were naturally dark, 2) after highlighting to slightly darken bleached streaks, 3) to darken slightly bleached white hair & 4) when colours close to strawberry blonde are wanted in the hair.
Q. What is the best way to apply Surya Henna Powder?
A. This must be applied to wet hair washed with shampoo & NOT conditioned. Dissolve the powder in lukewarm water along with the honey to make a homogenous paste. For a stronger, more intensive hair treatment, dissolve the powder in a bowl with skim yoghurt or skim milk & add honey. For best results ALWAYS follow the instructions included.
Q. I want to lighten my hair, which colour of Surya works best?
A. Surya Henna does NOT lighten the hair as it dosen't contain ammonia or peroxide. If the golden & blonde colours of Surya Henna Powder are applied to white or grey hairs, you may expect lighter colours but it will not lighten dark hairs.
Q. Can Surya Henna products be used on all hair types?
A. Yes, it can be used on all hair types even those that have been damaged by chemicals.

A. Since Henna hair colourings do not harm the hair, applications may be made as frequently as the person wants. There are no specific intervals, every day if you wanted. If you chose a colour that you weren't happy with then a new colour can be applied immediately after.
